IT Solution Architect
In this role, you will lead the design and evolution of business applications, serving as both Solution Architect and technical owner. You will translate business needs into sustainable solutions, define architectural direction, drive modernization initiatives, and provide technical leadership to ensure secure, reliable, and high-quality outcomes aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business needs, and operational challenges, translating them into solution concepts and architecture requirements.
Design end-to-end business solutions that align people, processes, information, and technology to achieve desired business outcomes.
Facilitate workshops and discussions with business units, product owners, technical architects, tech-leads, and delivery teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and priorities.
Analyze and optimize business processes, identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, standardization, and improved customer experience.
Define solution scope, business capabilities, and target operating models, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and enterprise architecture principles.
Evaluate solution options, assess business impact, risks, costs, and benefits, and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
Ensure business requirements are translated into clear functional and non-functional specifications for delivery teams.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Application Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Developer, or Senior Systems Analyst.
Proven experience designing enterprise application architectures across modern and legacy environments. Experience defining architecture standards, non-functional requirements, and security controls.
Experience with Azure cloud services, cloud migration, and cloud-native architecture principles, and CI/CD practices.
Ability to communicate architectural concepts effectively to both business and technical stakeholders.
Understanding software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps). Understanding of Oracle databases, data modelling, and enterprise data management principles.
Experience owning the technical roadmap and lifecycle of business applications, including modernization, technical debt management, and continuous improvement initiative.
Proficiency in English and the local language.
Experience in the insurance or banking sector is a strong advantage.

Salary: 6100-6800 €/mon. gross
